KartGraphiX Designs
are created using patterns and graphics carefully designed to
eliminate the sloppy fitment of other products on the
market. The following illustrates a few of the differences
that exist, and why our kits are worth just a little extra.
Our goal is to become known for producing the most exciting and
interesting graphics kits around. Lumenique is an artistic
journey, KartGraphix is one of the vehicles we use to take
us down the road and around the track.

The
Competition - We've been there |
|
|
The design above was
ordered as a modified color scheme from an existing design that
was red, white, and blue. The changes did cost a few extra
dollars. What was more surprising was that the details did
not carry over the seams well, and the seam-work was very wide
everywhere. On track this looked pretty good, but not really
what I expected for the money. |

Our
Approach |
|

|
|
For our designs, I
spend a lot of time creating working patterns for the vinyl cuts
to eliminate seam gaps and spaces. This produces a more
finished appearance overall. In addition to good patterns,
we spend a great deal of time making certain that the graphics
align easily across the seams. We also include a more
complete wrap on the fairing, All of this enhances the
impact of our original artwork, which is intended to make the kart
stand out from the crowd. |

Most decal shops
limit their use of color to two or three. This saves them
time and money. We aren't so timid. We have several
designs that have as many as eight colors. We're not trying
to be the value leader, others are better equipped to produce
cheaper decal kits. Our first love is in design, which means
we put a bit more of ourselves in what we produce. We ask a
small premium for the extra effort, but generally less than we
have into our final product. We accept this as the price of
artistic expression and a love of karting. |
