Why are we selling?
Over the last few years, we have accumulated several small
hobby businesses that have begun to compete heavily with our
racing interests. In addition, our primary business demands have
cut into available time to invest elsewhere. KartGraphiX
deserves better than we can give it now. We felt it is at a
point where someone who is interested in putting some effort
into promotion, a little advertising, and more competitive
pricing, could build this into a larger operation, either as
part of an existing graphics operation, or a stand alone
business for someone with the motivation.
Why so cheap?
Simple enough... Its a very small business. We cannot offer
a big backlog of customers, or a large history of cash flow.
It's been a hobby, with little or no promotion, all on word of
mouth. The value lies in a name that is well known, a reputation
for quality, and the assets to set someone up in their own
business. What they make of it will be from their own hard work
and active promotion, built on what we have here. We'd rather
see someone get in without breaking the bank. The price is very
reasonable for what is being offered, and will get the right
person off the ground and on the way to profitability in a short
period of time. Will
we be around to help?
Absolutely. We will help whoever buys the business get set up,
teach them the tricks we've discovered from trial and error, and
advise on how the business can be expanded and grown. We will
also assist in bringing any customers who might remain in
contact with us to the new owner.
How does the web site work?
This web site is part of the package, and is designed and
maintained in Microsoft Front Page. This is a very easy system
to operate, and can be maintained by anyone with graphics
experience. The store front is part of another entity and is not
part of the sale. The buyer is expected to develop their own
store front (either on this site or elsewhere.) We will provide
a grace period of 3 months for this transition before closing
the the existing storefront.
What about the TaG Masters
Series?
The TAG Masters series is not owned by KartGraphiX. This is
owned and operated by Sandy Mitz, with KartGraphiX providing
support and assistance through the web site. Any agreements for
the 2008 season will be between the owner of KartGraphiX and
Sandy. No commitments from either party are implied or included
in the sale of the company here.
What next?
If you are interested in the business, drop us an
email and let's
start the ball rolling. This is the perfect time to get started,
as the demand season heats up around the holidays as people
begin to get ready for the new season.
