Generally, the approach is to create a panel design with linked segments to cover a portion of the car, then create surrounding sponsor components that are tailored to the car's shape and available space.

The use of thermal transfer printing on a single layer of vinyl allows the use of a wide array of colors, fine graphic detail, and smooth integration of graphic elements.  The result is very similar to a painted-on application at a significant savings. Additionally, unlike cut and layered sign art using thin film, our laminated vinyl stands up to abuse, and can be easily replaced or updated each season.

After some experimentation, we've found that the vinyl we use in karting produces the nicest look, flexibility to follow body contours, and the glossy finish enhances the car's appearance.
